Whitby Rotary Clubs compete to support Steelhawks

On February 12th the Rotary Clubs of Whitby and Whitby Sunrise enjoyed some fun and fellowship on the ice of Iroquois Park Sports Complex learning to play Sledge Hockey.

The Whitby Steelhawks allowed Rotarians to use their equipment for an epic battle of skill and character.  It was quickly discovered that these Rotarians lacked the skill required but they quickly compensated with character and sportsmanship.

Many thanks to all who attended to show support to the Steelhawks.

Whitby Steelhawks is a volunteer organization that provides fun and competitive sledge hockey opportunities for our community.  Donations from the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise and the Rotary Club of Whitby help with club expenses and assist with the purchase and maintenance of team equipment.
