Microresearch

Bob Bortolussi is a Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at Dalhousie University where he is an active researcher, teacher, and mentor. 

In 2008, he co-founded “MicroResearch” (www.microresearch.ca), a program, which has trained over 1,000 health professionals in Africa to do community-based research in multidisciplinary teams. MicroResearch teams are now helping to improve health for the people in Africa. For example, one small study to investigate newborn deaths has led to changes that will save 1000’s of babies!
