Durham Mental Health Team

Officer Erin Buchanan and Nurse Kim Karpiel will be presenting on the newly expanded Durham Regional Police Mental Health Support Unit. This unit is a partnership between the police and Lakeridge Health where an officer and a nurse attend mental health related calls together to offer onscene crisis management and offer community resources to individuals and families with people dealing with mental health related issues
