Friend of Brian Thompsons.

Andrew Dundas has been an IT project manager for almost 30 years, with a focus on healthcare projects for the last 15+ years. He lives with his wife and two adult children in Whitby.

He was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis – also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease – along with Parkinson’s Disease, on December 7, 2022. From the first day of his diagnosis, he had the choice to hide or share his experience and try to make a difference. He has made the choice to not only put himself out there and share his experience but also start a fundraising campaign called the ALS Virtual Mobility Challenge where he has been “virtually cycling” across Canada – a total distance of approximately 7,500km – or the distance of the TransCanada Highway from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, NFLD.
